Driving Under the Influence (DUI)

The Legal Ramifications of a DUI Charge
Driving Under the Influence, or DUI, is a common predicament in which many people find themselves. What starts out as a good time with friends, or the end of a bad day, turns into getting behind the wheel of the car and an officer asking you to blow into a breathalyzer, only to discover that your blood-alcohol level is over 0.08 and you are in a world of trouble. A charge of DUI is no laughing matter. It can include spending the night behind bars waiting for someone to post bail for your release, as well as the following:
Fines of up to thousands of dollars,
The loss of driving privileges,
Imprisonment,
Community service hours,
And more.

The rest of your evening and the next couple years will be impacted by a few drinks and a bad idea to drive. It’s a horrible reality that many find themselves in, and a situation in which legal support is advisable.
