No Valid Driver License

Caught Without a Valid Drivers License
When a license is suspended or revoked, it can bring your life to a screeching halt. Living in Florida, you know how important it is to have the ability and freedom to jump in your car and get where you need to go. Without it, you are forced to use public transportation which is limited to city buses. Many Lakeland residents commute to Winter Haven, Bartow, Orlando and Tampa for work – without a driver’s license and vehicle, it would be nearly impossible for them to support their families.
Unfortunately, Floridians of all ages have found themselves in a legal bind that strips them of the driving privilege. The reasons for suspension or revocation of a driver’s license are vast – from old traffic tickets to unpaid child support, toll violations, and more. The legal truth is that a suspended license can even put you in jail, radically disrupting your life. These charges can range from misdemeanors to felonies depending on how many times you have been caught without a license.
The No valid Driver’s License statute is defined as follows:
“Drivers must be licensed; penalties.-- (1) Except as otherwise authorized in this chapter, a person may not drive any motor vehicle upon a highway in this state unless such person has a valid driver license issued under this chapter.”
